Bolivar Redfish Catch and Cook

Daniel Lopez

Eduardo headed to Port Bolivar with Junior and Carlo for a day of fishing along the rocks, hoping to catch some redfish and enjoy the cooler weather.

The morning started slowly, with Eduardo landing a small croaker while Junior struggled with seaweed, slippery rocks, and a few missed bites. Between casts, the group shared plenty of laughs, especially while teasing Junior about switching football teams.

After changing spots several times, things finally got exciting when Carlo hooked a nice keeper-sized redfish. Eduardo helped bring it onto the rocks, giving the group their biggest catch of the day.

Eduardo later hooked a flounder but lost it before landing it. He also managed to catch a small redfish, while Junior unfortunately finished without a catch.

The day took another unexpected turn when Carlo accidentally dropped a wireless microphone into the water.

Despite the mishaps, the trip ended on a delicious note when Eduardo's mom prepared homemade fish soup using Carlo's fresh catch.
