Fishing with Pepper Sanchez in Corpus Christi

Eduardo and I headed to Corpus Christi to meet up with fishing content creator Pepper Sanchez and Gabriel from Texas Made Lures for a day of wade fishing at one of their favorite spots.
While working the water, Pepper shared how his uncle Ben introduced him to fishing and how losing loved ones shaped his appreciation for the sport.
We also talked about Pepper's unexpected success on social media, his creative approach to making fishing videos, and why he enjoys sharing the reality of fishing, even when the fish aren't biting.
Between conversations, Pepper offered advice on reading the water, finding fish, and choosing artificial lures that match the baitfish in the area.
The fishing was challenging, but we eventually hooked into a nice fish using a Texas Made Lure.
After wrapping up, Pepper took us to one of his favorite local restaurants, Lucky Panda, for dinner.
It was a great day filled with fishing, good food, and even better conversations.
