Exploring Galveston Fishing Spots

Eduardo started his morning before sunrise along the Galveston Seawall, hoping to find an early bite. Unfortunately, heavy algae made fishing difficult and quickly forced him to start searching for better water. 

Things only got worse when Eduardo discovered his bait bucket had spilled inside his car, leaving shrimp and water everywhere. Instead of calling it quits, he gathered what bait he could and continued searching for a productive Galveston fishing spot.

His persistence eventually paid off with a couple of small fish, including a piggy perch. Eduardo then headed toward Tiki Island, where he managed to catch a baby black drum before losing more tackle.

During another Galveston fishing session, Eduardo continued searching for better action while talking about one of his other interests—movies. He discussed classic films, Christopher Nolan, Anthony Bourdain, and movies he believes Daniel's son Diego needs to watch.

Fishing remained difficult, with multiple break-offs and mostly small catches. Still, Eduardo kept a positive attitude. Despite spilled shrimp, lost tackle, algae, and a slow bite, he was grateful to spend another day on the water.

Sometimes fishing isn't about landing the biggest catch. It's about continuing to explore, learning new spots, and enjoying the experience even when almost everything seems to go wrong.
