The Honey Hole Search is On!

After spending a couple of weeks at home, Eduardo was seriously missing saltwater fishing. I was working, so Eduardo made the trip to Seabrook without me. He explored the floodgates, tried throwing lures and spoons, and even lost a ladyfish right at the bank. Of course, he was hoping to catch something big just so he could send me a picture and make me jealous.
On the way home, Eduardo stopped at Bayou City Angler for fishing line and a few lures. That quick stop turned into buying wading boots, opening up even more possibilities for future saltwater trips.
The next day, I joined Eduardo at John Paul Landing Park for another attempt at learning freshwater fishing. We experimented with crappie nibbles, worms, chatterbaits, and Texas rigs, but quickly realized just how different freshwater fishing is from what we're used to.
That led us to a new idea for Vast Roam: the Honey Hole Search. We want to meet local anglers who can introduce us to their favorite freshwater spots, teach us new techniques, and maybe even show us a great local place to eat.
We're still learning, and that's what makes this next chapter exciting.
