VAST ROAM has been blessed with a small community of people that follow our videos. A lifelong fisherman named Bubba reached out to use recently and invited @Eduardo “Oso” and I to go out on his fishing charter Ocean Outlaw Fishing Charters and experience the thrill of catching big bull reds.
Captain Bubba Justice is a paramedic by trade and when he is not working he is on the boat spending time doing what he loves which is helping to make lifelong memories and friends of those who take a trip on the charter.
Captain Travis is on hand during the charters to make the experience pretty much perfect. He cares so much about getting you on the fish and making sure you get that fish in the boat. I have never had such a high end fishing experience and Travis really makes it happen when you are out on the bay.
One thing that Captain Bubba expressed to me when we spoke before going on the trip was that he wanted to get us on some Bull Reds and he made that happen! Eduardo was simply beside himself after getting that first Bull Red onboard.
My son Diego had NEVER fought a fish as big as a BULL RED and was smiles from ear to ear when he landed a massive 40" example of what a true BULL RED is.
For me Captain Bubba and Captain Travis really made the trip so special not because of the big bull red they put me on but by the way they treated us on the charter and how they also treat each other as Captains with so much respect to each other. So nice having two guys that clearly love what they do sharing that passion for great fishing with others.
My big Bull RED catch was on my plate the same day it was caught because of a spot called Tik that Captain Bubba told us about.
After we got back to the dock Capt. Travis filleted up the the catch and we took it to the restaurant where they prepared it for us along with hush puppies, fries and rice. It was fantastic!
